Blogging is not my sport... :-)
As you may have noticed, I didn't write anything in my online journal for quite some time (almost two years have passed since the previous journal entry). Various "real life" related things have kept me from devoting my time to this journal. So, I've decided to remove it from my web site and replace it with something more useful (since it was basically a waste of space so far). By the end of this year (2003), you'll probably find something more useful instead of this journal (I'm thinking about writing some tutorials / howtos about various computer stuff). Until then, happy surfing and don't forget to come back...
No time to talk...
Yep, that's true. I'm very busy with school these days. Three more weeks of schooling are remaining and when you exclude weekend days, that's 15 active school days. So many things to finish, a lot of exams, you know the drill, right? That's the reason why I won't be updating MAX's World. The next three weeks, I'm going to be on the internet less than usual, just from time to time and that's all... Oh, I would also like to point out that my main hard drive (old SCSI Micropolis with 9 GB capacity and 7200rpm speed) let me down and stopped working. I really didn't plan that to happen since it was only 4 years old (hard drives should last much longer), but it happened. And I practically lost three days fixing everything and making my computer work again. Some of you may ask why I spent so much time. Well, the reason is simple, I had a dual boot Windows 2000 / Windows XP configuration (Windows 2000 was on main hard drive - Micropolis - and Windows XP was on second hard drive - Maxtor - which still works), and the main trouble was finding another hard drive to replace Micropolis, because Windows XP must remain on D: partition (otherwise all applications will be broken and I would have to re-install everything). After I found a replacement hard drive (old Seagate Medalist with 4,5Gb capacity), the only thing left was to make it bootable with NT boot loader. This last thing appeared to be trickier than I thought, but luckily I found utility called BootPart on the internet and used it to write NT boot loader to the disk... Everything is working fine right now! See you all on December 21 (the last day of this part of school year)!
I'm running out of spare time... :-)
As subject says, I'm running out of spare time. Only school, school & school, grrr... There's virtually no "playtime"... Anyway, to let you all know - I passed my driver license tests (both tests were passed successfully at the first try). So, I finally have my driver license and I can drive car, heh... Cool, eh? That's all, now back to school. And speaking of which, today I'll probably have two written exams. Exams in Biology (I'll have this exam for sure) and English (50% chance that I'll have it today). Wish me luck!
So many things to do and so little time...
I'm very sorry, because I didn't write anything for quite some time. As always, I was very busy with many different things. The most important was written test in mathematics, which I finished successfully - I kick ass real good! But, that's not all. I've also finished my driving lesions and now I'm ready to take the driving test and get the driving license. Speaking of test, the first part of test is tomorrow - theoretical part, which I'll hopefully pass! Enough talking, I'm now going to repeat some important driving related things before I go to bed (this is similar to bed time stories, heh). I don't have any more time to talk. See you all soon, and in the meantime, you can "waste" your spare time by Spanking the Monkey, heh he he! Gaudeamus igitur, juvenes dum sumus!
Shit happens! :-(
If you read my previous entries, you’ll notice that I actually haven’t said many positive things. That’s not me! I don’t know what’s happening!? I hope that this period is just temporary... For example, I practically wasn’t thinking when I had driving lesson today. My body was in the car, but the mind was somewhere else. Only problem is that I don’t know where! I haven’t been thinking about anything... Shit happens, I tell you! Also, the written exam in sociology didn’t go quite as I wanted, but I’ll (hopefully) fix everything that can be fixed on Friday. I really shouldn’t have listened to professor when I was taking that exam. When she was explaining two questions, she explained them wrong and said that we should only write brief answers to those two questions. But, when I have received the results, I found out that she didn’t accept my answers to those two questions, because they were very brief!? What the fuck, she said that they should be brief. Bottom line is that professors are evil! Uh, that should be all! What can I else say? Shit happens from time to time. It will be better in the future...
Another (school) day is over...
Uh, it's midnight and another day is over. I'm getting older and older, heh... Enough about that, let's talk about school, shall we? Today was a very hard day in school. I had a written test / exam in sociology. I hate those types of subjects, but according to the law I have to learn them. Why can't I only learn mathematics and physics? What can I say, we have a very stupid school system here (you can't choose which subjects you want to learn like in all modern countries). I don't know what mark I'm going to get on this test, but I hope that it would be satisfying for me (I've finished all grades so far with highest marks and I would like to repeat that this year)... That should be everything that I wanted to say about school (for now, at least)... Now, what I wanted to say... Oh, yes - I have been experimenting with my Web Cam lately (I've been moving it all around my room / studio) and if you take a look at MAX TV now, you can see how my "Home Theater" system looks. If anyone is curious, it consists of SONY KV29KQ75 (29" Trinitron WEGA TV), EchoStar AD3000IPvcs digital satellite receiver and Marantz PM7000 integrated amplifier that is connected to a pair of B&W DM604 S2 speakers (200W music power). Isn't that very powerful or what? Any comments, heh?
If you don't have anything to do...
